Pronghorn Antelope are symbolic and endemic to the open ranges of Wyoming. The three bucks have seen the Whitetail Jackrabbit and want to investigate his presence. It may seem that the animals are out of proportion but an antelope is a little over three feet tall and jackrabbits can be eighteen to twenty two inches long with ears measuring six inches.

The sow Grizzly has discovered an elk carcass and has claimed ownership by covering it with dirt and grass. The family will stay close to this source of food until it is all consumed. It is typical behavior for the sow to lay on top of the carcass. In description from Lives of Game Animals, by Ernest Thompson Seton, he describes the Grizzly behavior in covering the cache, A bear comes along and roots dirt and grass up alongside a carcass, and that's her way of saying, this is my meat, and you let it alone: I'll come back when I get around to it.
